Golden Hills

Mountains, sky, and clouds, in a thousand quiet points of light.

Referencing pointillism and modern expressionism, these paintings are made of countless small dots of pigment, placed one at a time, the way rain gathers on stone or stars appear at dusk. Around them, broad, expressive strokes move like wind across a summit. Together they build peaks and skies that are felt as much as seen.

The surface is alive with light. As the day turns, the dots catch the sun and let it go, and the mountains seem to breathe, brightening at noon and softening toward evening. Nothing about it is fixed, just as no sky is ever the same twice.
